Below you can find those things that I have done with a Windows PC, Photoshop and a Wacom Bamboo. I have added a small description for each one and a kind of Making of. You can also see some more comments at a thread I keep at 3DTotal.
Description: Another portrait halfway between fantasy and sci-fi. I normally end up using very saturated colours, so for this one I tried to pay more attention and find better colours as well as to keep it down. I enjoyed doing this one.
Description: Another woman portrait. This time I went for a more sci-fi look. The overall pose and some face features, like mouth and eyes, are taken from reference. I would like to thank Ekaterina Belinskaya for letting me use one of her photos as reference.
Description: I want to start making more landscapes. This one shows an army going back home through a snowy landscape as they start the long way back home after sacking a town. This was done in photoshop using a combination of brush work and variety of custom shapes I have been making for the past months.
Description: Something done for fun. I saw a photo on DeviantArt and decided to use it as reference. Its taking me a long time and there are still some areas that could be improved, but I want to move on ... :) I would like to thank Tomasz Zienkiewic for letting me use one of his photos as reference.
Description: I have worked on this second Warrior a bit more (see the first one just below), plus I have opted for less saturated colours, which I think works better. I think I will come again to her first companion for a revision ...... For now, I will start working on the third Warrior .....
Description: This images was entered into one of the monthly Challenges organized by ImagineFX Forums for June 2012. The title of the Challenge was: Immortal. I will go for the Vampire look. Immortality comes naturally by been a Vampire, but it comes with a price. She still remembers herself beautiful, but the years walking the earth have paid its toll. The thread with all the entries and WIPs can be found here.
Description: This images was entered into one of the monthly Challenges organized by ImagineFX Forums for May 2012. The title of the Challenge was a bit broad: The Founder. So I decided to go for an image of a Woman/Goddess (whatever you want to call it) creating the world/life as she walks. Her dress is meant to be part of the ground she walks amongst. The thread with all the entries and WIPs can be found here.
Description: This is meant to show a Visitor arriving to what looks like an abandoned city, or district of a city. It is not clear what has happened here, but the place looks like is been like this for a while. I wanted to have another try at drawing a city. Most of the time taken to produce this image has gone into the central area of the buildings. First in getting the right perspective, and then using many photos to produce their texture. You can see in the link below a small Making of.
Description: This image was done in Photoshop for the Concept Art Challenge organized by 3DTotal in April 2012. The theme of the Challenge was Fan Art. You can see the WIP created for the Challenge here.
Description: This image was done in Photoshop for the Concept Art Challenge organized by 3DTotal in February 2012, which ended up getting the first place by vote. The theme of the Challenge was Sea Creatures. You can see the WIP created for the Challenge here.
Description: This image was done in Photoshop incorporating a couple of elements from photos (the window frame and shutters, although they contain additions of my own). The image was inspired by a photo of a woman in a magazine. To me, she looked lonely. In this image she appears also as if resigned to her fate. The title is supposed to inspire cold, in contrast with the warmish atmosphere used.
Description: The last sorcerer from a lost tribe has been tracked down deep into the woods by those who fear her kind. Her magic, lost in time, is encrypted in the tattoos she has over her body. The right combination of tattoos and magical artefacts brings forth magic fear by many. The magic flowing from her right arm tattoo to the rod triggers the turning on of the old magic stored on it. She faces her last moments as a free woman, been cornered, she has no option but to invoke the magic of the rod. By who, or how, she is captured, even though she has at her disposal the power to invoke two dragons, might be the topic of another drawing.

Description: This image was inspired by some photos we took while travelling around South Africa in November 2008. One of the days we came across a Zulu village were we spent the night. That evening we were taken to see the town's witch woman. I thought those images would be a good starting point to start applying what I had been reading about digital art. I wanted to pay attention only to her face, so I left the surroundings out.
